I made another heart, by request, for a friend’s birthday. She loves it.

This is the first year I’ve had a reason to do something for Valentine’s Day in a long time. So instead of doing something overly sappy and romantic I decided to make a relatively lifelike heart out of yarn. It’s very me, I think. Fingers crossed he doesn’t think it’s too weird.

This is the lace detail. Super easy, quick knit. Made for my mom for her birthday.

I made a tiny panda the other day. It’s a little funny looking in real life.

Things I make -Little Arrowhead Shawl.

This is the first Interweave Knits pattern I’ve done. Super fast and simple. I added one chart repeat but I should have added a couple more. Oh well. It should block nicely anyway.

Oh, and the yarn is angora rabbit and merino wool. It’s so soft.

I started and finished knitting this shawl while on vacation, in less than five days.

I suppose I’m some kind of fiber nerd or something since this is the mail I get.

I am almost certainly becoming a yarn snob. This is madelinetosh vintage, which is not cheap, and I just finished a pair of fingerless mitts with Misti Alpaca Tonos, which is so soft I never want to take them off my hands.

Also, apparently warm weather makes me want to knit mittens. This is the second pair in two weeks.

I was going to take a picture to show off my newly blocked shawl, but Montgomery was jealous or something.
